Dj Max, began his artistic training to work (1990-94) as DJ and music programmer at
Radio GRD (Alba-Italy), and studying music, "Studies in Jazz harmony" with guitar.
From 1997 to 2001 he was a member of Feel Good Productions, the Italian collective author of the compilations: "Funkadelica vol.1" (Edel), "Funkadelica vol2" (GreenQueen Music / Self), Balkanica! (G. Q. Music)
and Mad World (G. Q. Music). As resident DJ of the night "Funkadelica" and member of the Feel Good Productions Djs Crew, Dj Max play throughout Italy and Switzerland, sharing turntables with international dj's and producers.
Since 2001 he lives and produces his music in Barcelona, where he works regularly as dj. He had resident nights in some of the most famous clubs in town and he has been invited to important festivals Nationals and Foreign. At the same time, he was working
as producer of electronic music, rapidly appreciate because he remixed bands like Dusminguet (Virgin/Chewaka-2003), or the Italians Lou Dalfin (Green Queen Music / Self 2009).
DJ Max is a founder and musicians of the band barXino, avant-garde project of electronic music fusion, active from 2003 to 2007 and based in Barcelona.
Throughout 5 years, he has been playing with barXino in different countries: Spain, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland… invited to play at festivals and clubs of the most recognized in Europe, with the band or the sound system.
In 2006 published the barXino’s album "Barcelona Mondo Beat nación electrolatina " (K-industria cultural/Spain) distributed in over 10 countries in Europe, more Japan and Mexico.
DJ Max is co-producer of the album and co-author on all music of barXino.
Globe by dj Max & Gabb is a new project that Dj Max shares with the dj and producer "Gabb" (Apotheke crew/Valencia).
It is an electronic project, oriented to the Black music roots . A search on the Black music, to create a fusion, with contemporary electronics rhythms. The result is a powerful mix of Breakbeat and House, with Funk, Afro.and Latin.
Percussions, forceful winds, rhythmic guitars, melodies
funk-African-Cuban, with, unstoppable breaks, Grooves
and demolition synthetic bass-lines, this fusion it’s extremely effective and a bomb for the dance-floor.
The good results of criticism and public, is giving quickly popularity to Globe by dj Max & Gabb. On during 2009 they have published two releases with the Spanish Label “La Cupula House of Music”. Globe by dj Max & Gabb “EP 01”, with the featuring of Mc Rakkamuthafukka, and, Globe by dj Max & Gabb “EP 02”, with the reggae singer Benjammin. A new Ep will be available soon, in collaboration with the recognized label Timewarp Music (Greece). The new Ep titled “Let da Rtm”, including 4 fresh re edits and new power mastering, of the songs published this year: Afrovibes, Moving across you,
People Survive(Vocal Mix) and People Survive (Club Mix). More, 2 news electrofunky tracks, Let da Rtm (Vocal Mix) and Let da Rtm (Club Mix). New releases are waiting in the 2010 for Globe by dj Max & Gabb on Timewarp Music.
